  13. In MacApp 2.0 it will be possible to create views from resources, much like
  14. dialog items are create from 'DITL' resources.  Right now, we use Rez to build
  15. the resources but we're working on (not committing to) a ResEdit-like view
  16. editor that can build the resources.  Note that this only applies to views and
  17. windows, not to all objects.

  19. There are no plans for a drawing class from Apple.

  21. GridView is intended to be used for rectangular cells.  I think you'd need to
  22. create your own classes for non-rectangular cells, though there may be
  23. sufficient generality in the GridView methods that you could do it by
  24. overriding GridView.
